Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson

Nancy Wilson (jazz singer) was born to Olden Wilson as the Chillicothe ironworker on the 20th of February, 1937. She was the daughter of Lillian Ryan worked as a household servant. Nancy Wilson was the first child of six. Nancy was a child who listened to the records of her father and his enthusiasm for music. When she was just 4, Nancy already knew that her future was as an artist. Her talents were developed through singing in the church choir. After winning a talent competition in a television show around the age of 15, she began to regularly appear in Skyline Melodies, while still in highschool. In the year she turned fifteen, she began her career in night clubs. After graduating from high school the 17-year old Nancy was enrolled for a semester at the Ohio's Central State College now Central State University before dropping out and becoming professional as a singer. Her first recording was with Rusty's Carolyn Club Big Band in 1956. They toured from 1956 to 1958. Nancy began her recording career with Dot Records in 1956, as part of the group. Cannonball Aderley suggested that she relocate to New York so as to enhance her career. In 1959 she moved into The Big Town. She was commissioned to sing for The Blue Morocco Night Club located in The Bronx, where Adderley's agent had come across her. The contract was signed with Capitol Records in the year 1960. Her first album was focused on R&B however, under Adderley's influence, she started to take on jazz. Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley joined forces in 1962 and allowed her to climb the charts. By 1963 she had her biggest hit with Tell Me the Truth. The song led to a performance at New York's Coconut Grove the premier night club in America the following year and she was a household name.

Joy Richardson was her mother. Her education was completed in a private institution and completed graduation from the University of Oxford. She graduated from Archaeology as well as Anthropology. Maisie began her career as an actress with the short film Our First World in the year 2012. She was in 2013 as Ellie in the film Americano and Rum.
