Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic music composer, performer and singer. Avery Sunshine combines soul gospel jazz with R&B in a distinct mix. She's performed on Broadway, at the Democratic National Convention and in European festivals and clubs. Sunshine is the daughter of Denise White. Although she lives in Atlanta, she originates from Chester Pennsylvania where she began her musical vocation by singing as well as playing the piano at the church. In Atlanta, she attended Spellman College where her musical training began on Atlanta's R&B Scene. The Fighting Temptations The single featuring her voice, Stalk You A House 12, came out only in Japan. The song has had numerous remixes and it's a major part in her live performance. The singer has also provided her voice for The Fighting Temptations' soundtrack. In 2005, she became the drummer in Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. In 2007, Grammy as well as Tony Awards-winning vocalist Jennifer Holliday sought her out to become the choral director in the production staged by Dreamgirls at the National Black Arts Festival in Atlanta. Sunshine was recognized nationally through her performances on four consecutive days during 2008's Democratic National Convention.
