Parker is known for her role in films or series, as well as TV shows like RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys by the Side as well as the West Wing Angels of America. Parker was honored with a Golden Globe Award for Best actress and also the Emmy Award. Parker also won an award called the Tony Award for Best Actress 2001 in Broadway's play Proof.
